ATS earns ISO/SN 9001 Certification
Huntingdon Valley, PA January 12, 2015 – About Time Snow has been serving eastern Pennsylvania area since 1994. About Time Snow is protecting the well-being of our clients and the tenants that work at their commercial, retail and industrial properties with true winter risk management services. The company believes in education and certification and has once again set itself ahead of the competition by pursuing and obtaining ISO certification.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an international organization that certifies that businesses, government organizations and social entities meet certain common standards. ISO 9001 is a set of international standards for quality management. SN 9001 is a newly created certification that works in conjunction with ISO 9001 specifically for professional snow and ice management contractors. A company earns certification through an independent, third-party audit. The audit focuses on the company’s processes, and ensure that their procedures adhere to ANSI/ASCA A-1000-2014 Written Snow Industry Standards.

About Time Snow contracted with snow industry consulting firm John Allin Consulting to assist the company in becoming ISO Compliant. Tammy Johnson of John Allin Consulting performed the Pre-Audit Gap Assessment and their ISO Internal Audit. Then, Smithers Quality Assessments performed the actual Stage One and Stage Two ISO 9001 Audit, which About Time Snow passed on the first Audit visit. DiRocco the person to lead the internal About Time team in this endeavor stated, “This has been a very rewarding process. ISO Certification is an advancement for any professional snow and ice company in its mission to become better educated and more professional in its service offering. I’m excited to be amongst the first in the country to earn our certification.” About Time Snow is the 6th snow and ice management company in North America to achieve ISO Certification status.
